What is Sakura Meditation?

Sakura Meditation is vedic meditation, an ancient technique that resurfaced some decades ago due to the need of these modern times we live in. It uses the subtle power of sound.

It’s a simple, effortless practice, done twice a day for 20 minutes while seated comfortably. It’s accessible to everyone—no effort, no struggle, just a natural way to settle into deep relaxation.

You’ll receive a personalized sound ( also called a mantra) that gently guides your nervous system into a state of profound rest. As deep-rooted stress leaves your body, you’ll begin to experience a greater sense of ease in daily life.

Hi, my name is Elena. I am the founder and teacher at Sakura meditation.

I am a Romanian, software engineer, now living and teaching in Tallinn, Estonia.

My course offerings are both online and in person,

in Tallinn, Helsinki and Bucharest.

I found this meditation technique more than 6 years ago, after one of the hardest periods of my life.

I had severe inflammation in all my joints, particularly around my knees which prevented me from being able to walk, for months. During that time my mental and emotional health were even in a worse shape than my knees.

The engineer in me wanted an efficient and consistent solution to all of these. And after trying on different techniques, I found vedic meditation.

It was a total game changer.

My knees recovered, my anxieties disappeared, my sleep improved drastically.

I have found a renewed joy of living.

This meditation gave me so much and continues to this day to unfold more and more happiness in my life so I knew I had to share it with everyone who wants to live a healthier, happier life.

What I love about this practice is that I noticed small improvements from the first days of meditating. I felt more calm and my anxieties vanished.

Within a week I was already sleeping better and could not believe how simple was to just sit down and meditate. Those 20 minutes really went so fast and soon I noticed that I started to look forward for my meditation times.
